Why register

Registration helps the Consulate maintain accurate community records, reach you quickly during emergencies (security incidents, natural disasters, public-health events), invite you to community events and town halls, and design services and outreach around the actual needs of Kenyans in the UAE.

Who should register

Every Kenyan national resident in the UAE — including the Northern Emirates — is encouraged to register, whether you are on a work permit, a dependent visa, a student visa, a Golden Visa, or any other status. Registration is free and the information you provide is held in confidence.

What information we collect

  • Full name as it appears on your passport
  • Kenyan passport / ID number
  • Emirate of residence + nearest landmark
  • UAE phone number (with WhatsApp) and email
  • Profession or area of work / study
  • Name and contact of next-of-kin in Kenya
  • Number of family members residing with you (optional)

Already registered?

Please notify the Consulate whenever your contact details change — new phone number, new email, new emirate of residence, or change in profession. Email dubai@mfa.go.ke with the subject line “Update registration”.
