Plan your Kenya trip in three steps: choose your destinations, secure your Electronic Travel Authorization, and book through reputable operators.
Step 1 — Choose your destinations
Browse Magical Kenya for inspiration and curated itineraries. Most safari packages combine the Mara with at least one other park (Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo) and an optional coastal segment.
Step 2 — Apply for your ETA
Apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization at etakenya.go.ke at least one week before travel. Approval is typically within 72 hours.
Step 3 — Book with trusted operators
The Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) and Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO) member directories list licensed tour operators. The Kenya Tourism Board also publishes recommended operators.
